Meet Rab of Rab & Co
Rebecca Long — or Rab, to those who know her — is the founder and creative lead behind Rab & Co, a Hampstead-based interior design studio known for its understated elegance, thoughtful detailing, and calm, confident aesthetic.
With a background in fine art and fashion, Rebecca brings a richly layered perspective to her work. She trained at one of London’s most established design firms, where she gained hands-on experience across a wide range of residential projects, while learning from some of the most respected names in the industry. Her approach is shaped by an intuitive understanding of colour, tactility, light and mood — always grounded in the story of the house and the people who live in it.
At the heart of her work is a desire to create interiors that feel as good as they look: homes that function beautifully, reflect individuality, and elevate the everyday. Whether designing an entire house or helping to source the perfect fabric for a single piece, every project is guided by her quiet confidence, editorial eye, and belief that good design is one of the best investments anyone can make.
